Empowering Black Veterans

Our Vision

Kingdom Veterans  PAC is dedicated to empowering Black veterans there are over 2.5 million black veterans’ men and women through a comprehensive approach that confronts historical injustices, promotes equitable access to benefits and services, enhances healthcare delivery, addresses socioeconomic disparities, and cultivates a sense of community and belonging. Our goal is to establish strong relationships with key stakeholders, including members of the U.S. Senate, U.S. Congress, the Department of Defense, and various secretaries overseeing military and veteran affairs.


Strategic Objectives

1. Engagement with Lawmakers

   - Build partnerships with U.S. Senate and House committees, particularly those focused on veterans’ affairs, to ensure that the unique needs of Black veterans are prioritized in appropriations and legislative discussions.

   - Collaborate with state and local officials to create pathways for resources and opportunities tailored to Black veterans.

 

2. Addressing Systemic Inequities and Historical Injustices

   - Advocate for the GI Bill Restoration Act to rectify past discriminatory practices that have hindered Black veterans' access to housing and educational benefits.

   - Promote fair access to VA benefits by providing resources to help Black veterans navigate the complexities of the claims process and combat implicit bias within the system.

 

3. Improving Access to Healthcare and Culturally Competent Services 

   - Increase awareness and access to mental healthcare tailored for Black veterans, addressing issues like PTSD and suicide ideation.

   - Ensure timely and equitable access to healthcare by advocating for improvements in scheduling, staffing, and resource allocation within the VA system.

 

4. Combating Homelessness and Unemployment  

   - Develop comprehensive housing assistance programs to prevent homelessness among Black veterans, including transitional and permanent housing solutions.

   - Enhance employment support services by providing job training, placement assistance, and entrepreneurship opportunities specifically designed for Black veterans.

 

5. Fostering Community and Advocacy

   - Create support groups and community engagement initiatives to provide safe spaces for Black veterans to share experiences and foster connections.

   - Organize advocacy efforts to promote policies that ensure equity and support for Black veterans, strengthening collaboration with relevant organizations.

The focus of our efforts will be concentrated in states with the highest populations of Black veterans, including:

- Texas

- Florida

- Georgia

- California

- North Carolina

- Virginia

- New York

- Maryland

- Illinois

- Ohio

Kingdom Veterans  PAC is committed to driving systemic change for Black veterans through advocacy, community engagement, and strategic partnerships. By addressing historical injustices and promoting equitable access to resources, we aim to empower Black veterans and ensure that they receive the support and recognition they deserve for their service to our nation. Together, we will work towards a future where Black veterans thrive and contribute to their communities with dignity and respect.
